Review of Room 237 (2012) by Erik B — 15 Feb 2013
Like the film it analyzes. Room 237 is wildly unfocused and often very difficult to followed. However, like The Shining, that's kind of the beauty of it. The maze of thematic elements, subliminal messages and symbolism explored in this film is completely fascinating, which makes this a must see for fans of Kubrick's masterpiece.
I don't see myself sitting through it again, but I can almost garuntee that I will never see The Shining the same way again.
