Review of Romance on the High Seas (1948) by Blake P — 21 Feb 2010
Grade A fluff, all snappy banter and exotic locales and mistaken identity. Jack Carson makes for an unusual but entertaining romantic lead - it's like if Patrick Warburton somehow got cast in a role written for George Clooney.
Pretty strange that this was Day's first film, too, as she gets most of the screen time here and totally aces it.
