Review of Rockstar (2011) by Mukesh V — 10 Jan 2012
Dubbed the 'new-age reinterpretation of Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's Devdas set against a rock music backdrop', I personally prefer this to the 2002 remake of Devdas. Ranbir the new serial-kisser is really upping his acting skills and the story is quite entertaining.
Debutant Fakhri may require some guidance in order to climb the hill of high-heels and short-skirts, but then again Kaif hasn't done so bad since her initial starters. Songs not all that but there were a few which were OK.
A decent movie I think.
