If you didn't come of age and weren't part of, on the immediate periphery during some part of, or never heard of, the era of zines, pirate radio, audio and visual collage, cut & paste flyers, "The Cassette Mythos", "The Anarchists Cookbook", The Church of the SubGenius, ReSEARCH, and everything else that encompassed the early low-tech, pre-digital, DIY movement then it will be difficult to fully appreciate the cast of characters in this wonderful documentary that is way more than the sum of it's parts.
For some it will be evident, regardless. For others, well, they didn't get it then and they certainly won't get it now.
