Review of Reservation Road (2007) by Steve S — 30 May 2008
Most movies that tackle a subject such as the one in this movie can fall into laughable melodramatic territory. Thankfully, Reservation Road steers clear of that and heads for a more realistic story with powerful performances.
Although it didn't exactly blow me away, it did connect me to its characters and didn't lose me with any illogical or stupid plot twists like so many other dramas. Jennifer Connelly is an amazing actress.
Ruffalo and Phoenix were great as well.
