Review of Rescue from Gilligan's Island (1978) by Curt V — 17 Jun 2007
I'm ashamed to admit I own this in my DVD collection. It was the result of drinking far too much whiskey.
Highlights to this film include: The professor finally thinking of building a BOAT to get off the island (Who would have thought!?) and then the castaways adapting to all the changes that have happened since they were lost at sea... Considering they only knew about the Harlem Globetrotters, it was quite the culture shock.
They also aren't really rescued from Gilligan's Island either, they're forced to flee it during a tropical storm. So as you can understand the movie was titled by retards.
