How refreshing a smart horror movie that cares to take the time out to flesh out its characters and plot. It burns slowly but is never dull. 'Red White & Blue' makes you feel for the most unlikely characters and it doesn't over indulge the viewer with sadistic violence.
All I heard about this movie before watching it was how gory and violent it is - that is not the case. The violence in this picture is tame and the gore minimal but that's not a disadvantage. A wonderful late night surprise, highly recommended.
