I know I've sort of already seen the film (remake: "Quarantine"). But if Hollywood is gonna got though the trouble of remaking a foreign film, then they should do it with some damn conviction.

Instead of just cashing in on other filmmaker's ideas. I mean seriously, can you name at least five good, if not great Hollywood remakes of foreign films?
