Review of Radioland Murders (1994) by Stephen C — 18 May 2008
Farce like this is something I love and despite the film lagging in one or Two places I really enjoyed this homage to the great slam door farces of the 30s and 40s.
Benben and Masterson are great as the soon to be divorced couple working in the radio station where several murders take place over the course of one evening.
What makes the film work is the great supporting cast including Chris Lloyd,Ned Beatty,Bobcat Goldwait,Harvey Korman and George Burns.
Unfairly lambasted on Release the film is pure fun and calling the film a dog is tadd harsh.
Yes there are better examples of this types around ,but you could do a lot worse than rediscover this film.
