Review of Quartet (2012) by James T — 12 Jun 2013
A quiet romantic comedy/drama for the octogenerian set. The plot is simple (perhaps too simple) but it's a pleasent slice of life film. While lite it is deffinately not a lite-hearted look at the difficulties of aging, with the physical and mental declines not shied away from.
The performances are all very good, with Billy Connely standing out in the comic relief role of Wilf.
