Can I get some fucking subtitles please? To quote Snatch, "I thought this country spawned the fucking language, and so far nobody seems to speak it." That aside, this was decent. But yet again, second movie in a row that i've watched where the music completely distracts. Here, in my opinion, it was horribly used.
The kid in this does a great job, being his first movie. There was a great scene in which the ten-year old kid smokes crack to relate to his mother, and it was very well done. Disturbing and moving. Molly Parker as the mother is great too. the rest of the movie...eh. I gave this an extra 1/2 star because sweet sweet Keira is in it.
