Review of Punch-Drunk Love (2002) by Riccardo R — 18 Jun 2013
This is how all romantic comedy should be, quirky and awkward yet has heart to it. this is easily Adam Sandler's best performance in anything ever. He doesn't try too hard as he does in most of his films.
He definitely set up that perfect amount of quirky and awkward in a person while still showing that he has a big heart and he has the ability to love. Emily Watson does fantastic as his female counterpart in this love story.
She definitely shows that she's the type of girl who enjoys quirkiness in people and in fact Loves it. Philip Seymour Hoffman also does a great job and I must say this is one of my favorite Paul Thomas Anderson flicks if not my favorite.
There will be blood is a fantastic film but I can't really watch it as much as I can this movie.
