Review of Pranchiyettan & The Saint (2010) by Jobin B — 14 Oct 2010
This one don't have much of a story to boast of, but the screenplay and direction makes up for that, curiously like the other two Eid releases. Ranjith again flaunts his versatility with lots of awesome sitcom moments. The role is cakewalk for Mammootty, but thats enough to leave us impressed. The supporting cast is great too.
This is one of the funniest films to open this year and the best film of the season, and its bizzare that the film is behind the other two films at the box office. Ah, may be because this one scores low on slapstick tricks, that our recent superhit comedies have in plenty.
