Review of Platoon (1986) by Kerby H — 27 Feb 2012
Not the most original war movie ever, but it doesn't need to be. There's impeccable action, grueling battle scenes and the film perfectly reviews the morals of warfare. Oliver Stone showed more effort in Born on the Fourth of July, yet this is an amazing movie, too.
