Julie Walters shows off her versatility in this bio-pic of a 1980s professional dominatrix who famously catered for a predominantly middle-class clientèle. She plays the part with great sympathy and humanity, and her effortless comedic talent shines through at the appropriate moments.
A fascinating story told by a great actress. Highly recommended.
