Review of People's Hero (1987) by Sf C — 26 May 2018
As commented by another user, it starts as a bank robbery movie, and turns out to be a slow-paced story on the interaction among the characters ... and very few action sequences. Just bear in mind that it is a drama, not an action movie. Judged as a 80s Hong Kong movie, it is a good one.
Just one complaint: My VCD of this movie has only Tony Leung on the case cover, and Ti Lung on the back cover. But actually, Ti Lung, not Tony Leung, is the main character.
