Review of Peep World (2010) by Kevin R — 08 May 2011
I think the premise was interesting, but the flow and actual fat of this movie didn't meet expectations.
Ben Schwartz is a really funny guy with talent, but it seems like he's slightly under-utilized here. I think you can easily say the same for Michael C. Hall. I know we weren't supposed to expect him to go around killing people and saving the day like in Dexter, but I just didn't buy him as the family man who couldn't handle his life anymore. It wasn't that he didn't pull it off, more than he wasn't given the tools or story to do it.
