Review of Patton (1970) by Aaron H — 21 Feb 2008
I would put George C. Scott in the top ten greatest actors of all time for his performance in this movie alone. Everything about this film is truly brilliant and the three hour running time just passes by if you let yourself get absorbed by this movie.
I have seen a lot of other tremendous movies with Scott but you really can't beat his performance here. The ending with its references to Don Quioxete are genius and the last words Scott says as Patton are perfect.
Great, great, great, great, great, great, great film!!!!!!
