Review of Paddleton (2019) by Imthenoob — 12 Mar 2019
It's definitely not the comedy it's portrayed as when it deals with one of the friend's decision to end his life upon a terminal cancer diagnosis and the other friend sticking by his side throughout his final days. While at first, The friends try to keep things upbeat, optimistic and sticking to the same routine (almost as if it was business as usual). They soon find themselves struggling with the decision and the inevitability that, in a way, two lives are going to be ended when just one dies.
It's a really touching film with great performances. Romano does a fantastic job and Duplass, as always, continues to kill it in these low-budget films that never seem to get enough credit where credit is due. I very highly recommend it if you can find the time to watch it.
