Review of Paddington (2014) by Simon L — 05 Dec 2017
A faultless dose of feel-good. Paddington will charm your socks off, and challenge you, too. The theme is opaque, and this tale about a refugee who lands in a Britain to find it quite different to how he'd imagined, couldn't have come to its audience at a more appropriate time.
It's funny, well-casted and doesn't take itself too seriously. A classic family tale becomes a classic family film.
