It was clever, funny, and unbelievably frustrating for the firs 30 minutes or so. Patience is required. The metatheatricality of it got annoying and I kind of wish it had just been straight forward. I also thought that the zombie thing was simultaneously very smart and underutilized.
The gay zombie thing was tenuous at first but grew on me as the subtext became more obvious. But, c'mon, if you're going to use zombies at least some horror like shit has to go down.
