Review of One Man's Hero (1999) by Sean S — 25 Feb 2015
Not a huge fan when I first saw it in the early 2000s, but I've grown to really like this film. Despite a limited budget, it holds up surprisingly well and still feels contemporary after nearly 20 years.
It also stands out from all of the TNT war films and other historical war dramas that came out in the 90s. Honestly, how many films ask American audiences to root against the American army? There are scenes in this film that get burned into your head and never go away.
