Review of Of Gods and Men (2010) by Simon G — 01 Dec 2010
A near perfect film, communicating it's message of spiritual resolve with not a wasted second. Transcending the medium, the viewer is at one with the characters and truly dreads the stories well known resolution.
Quibbles culd be made about it's, perhaps, one sided perspective but in that it reinforces the narrativeit ends up being one of the films many strengths. And you'll never agian listen to the Dying Swan from Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake without getting a lump in your throat.
