Review of Nixon (1995) by Richard B — 05 Jan 2008
Anthony Hopkins may not look much like Nixon, but like Phillip Seymour Hoffman in Capote, he channels the man into this great performances. Too often Nixon is either portrayed as an evil maniac or as a goofball to be made fun of, in this movie Stone creates a telling portrayal of man who was all too human.
Great film.
