An Ed Burns script is always a pleasure. Nice Guy Johnny is straightforward, but totally realistic and grin-generating. You know exactly what's coming up at any given time in the show, but you just have to watch it play out anyway.
A must-watch for lovers of dialog-driven movies. I wish I had an Uncle Terry. I WILL be an Uncle Terry.
