Review of Niagara (1953) by Christopher B — 31 Jul 2017
It seems odd to cast MM as a femme fatale, but I think it works as comediennes generally make the best criminals. A shame that Cotten's character wasn't more fully developed in the first half hour.
The film seems to not properly start until the young newlyweds (Peters & Adams) arrive. Though well done technically, perhaps this film could have been better had it been a proper Film Noir and left the newlyweds as secondary characters.
