Review of Ned Kelly (2003) by Amanda A — 28 May 2007
My Aussie background bias has nothing to do with my firm belief that this movie is fantastic. Both my favorite historical figure, and my favorite historical movie, Ned Kelly is the truest Robin Hood you can come by, and his story can bring tears to the hardest of souls.
While the hard facts arent the purest, the point of the story is clear, and the legacy is clearly displayed, which is really the point of the movie. Its beautifully filmed on location, and the acting is superb.
