My Little Pony has had an unprecedented cult following in the last year due to the fact that just about everyone of every age and gender can honestly enjoy it. I'm not even ashamed as a guy to say that I enjoy it, and this film is no exception.

This is more like a fan's dream of perceiving favored cartoon characters as people like us with real life problems and factors in quite nicely to what was meant to be the plot here. It just deserves credit for what it was supposed to be and what it brought to the table.
