Review of My Dinner with Andre (1981) by Buddy K — 27 Apr 2010

Wonderful film that transcends the trappings of the lengthy conversation sub-genre. Going into these sort of movies one expects the musings of the two leads to be amusing and clever, and they are. However, the way in which the film transcends this is that these characters aren't talking about just random bits of pop culture, the conversation is a mesmerizing discussion of two compatible but not quite overlapping schools of though.

Watching this you have to ask yourself whose philosophy you fall under, Wally or Andre? I myself would say I fall somewhere in between.
