Review of Mumford (1999) by Bob B — 20 Jan 2008
I think that this is one of those overlooked little gems. It's a quirky feel-good movie about a man (Loren Dean) who moves into a town named Mumford, names himself Mumford, and pretends to be a therapist.
The town of Mumford is filled with eccentric characters, most notably the always scene-stealing Jason Lee as Skip Skipperton.
Great to see some uplifting movies once in a while, and this should leave a smile on your face.
