Review of Mudbound (2017) by Michael F — 23 Jan 2018
This movie is well worth the experience of the difficult scenes. It draws a picture of life in Mississippi for a White family and a Black family with intertwined lives in the World War II period. I learned a lot about how the return of Whites and Blacks who had served overseas created the seed of shifts in race relations.
This is a worthy movie, full of emotion, as we catch a glimpse of life during a very difficult time in the South. Excellently done.
