Review of Mr. Klein (1976) by Ed Q — 02 Jan 2008
At times the execution of the story is a bit odd and flat, but it's still a very good film. The acting is suitably icy, and several of the long takes are impressive. The story itself is very intriguing and layered with subtext.
The obsession of the title character leads to a haunting climax that perfectly fits the Kafkaesque tone of the film.
