For once I get a sports movie that has somewhat of an original story. I loved the idea of a baseball player going through training just to get back in the league and get 3 more hits. That to me was hilarious and the way that Bernie Mac played his character was perfect.
The romance between him and Angela Bassett was a little unecessary in my opinion. I wish they stuck strictly to him getting his three hits in my opinion. In the end though, Mr. 3000 was highly entertaining and I really enjoyed it.
