Review of Moonrise Kingdom (2012) by Jay S — 24 Dec 2015

A movie clearly capable of inundating its viewers with wonderment. From a boy scout standpoint it's exactly how I imagined the program (this movie is totally not about the boy scouts, it's just amazing how Anderson captured them) and the angsty teen (Suzy) could not have captured the role better. Alludes strongly to broadway like direction.

Moonrise Kingdom has a way of showing its viewers that age is but a number. This movie is very powerful in its demonstration of love and how it transverses all barriers, including age.
