Review of Monsters: Dark Continent (2014) by Carter R — 29 Mar 2015
Seriously, how did this Oliver Stone script reject make it as a movie? Starting with unlikeable douche bag characters and trying to explore too many issues (the economic collapse of Detroit, middle east relations, the brotherhood of the military, the horrors of war, there's good and bad people in every walks of life etc.
) that it can't expand on any of them and oh yeah, there's supposed to be monsters in here as well. Just think of Apocalypse Now as a high school play.
