Review of Moloch (1999) by Maggie S — 13 Dec 2009
'For many modern people, it seems at least strange that individual, inner initiatives could serve as motivation for historical acts, or acts that become a part of the history. It means that most historical events didnâ??t happen because certain political figures felt themselves political figures and acted according to the interests of society, state, people, et cetera. The reasons for most of those acts are intimate, individual, very private urges and motives that have nothing to do with either the history of the country or the history of his people, or any global process or project.'.
