Review of Mogambo (1953) by Claire W — 31 May 2017
Dumb fluff typical of the era. It was amazing to see how many wardrobe changes by Ava and it was truly a marvel how meticulously pressed the clothing was... cocktail dresses and heels in Africa? Pearls, bracelets, earrings? And a seemingly endless parade of dresses.
Of course, Ava looks amazing... no perspiration whatsoever in that jungle heat... about as realistic as the thin and improbable plot.
