Review of Miss Meadows (2014) by Donna B — 03 Nov 2017
A whimsical Death Wish in a flowered dress, gloves, and tap shoes. Katie Holmes' characterization of Miss Meadows was spot on, down to the last Too-da-loo. It's a small, simple movie, but I loved it.
Humorous, but serious when it needs to be. It didn't answer all the questions of Miss Meadows' past, or what the deal was with the mother. But no matter. It was enough to know that, for now at least, Miss Meadows settled down in one place.
A nicely spent 1 1/2 hrs.
