Review of M.F.A. (2017) by Lisa G — 17 Oct 2017
Leah McKendrick did an amazing job writing about a very emotional and difficult subject. She presented the subject of campus rape in a very raw and important way. She brought you into the world of extreme emotions of rape victims.
Both Francesca Eastwood and Leah McKendrick did amazing jobs in each of their roles, both of them showcasing the very different ways they approached, and ultimatley handled, their anguish. Despite the very harsh reality and devastating consequences of the subject matter, the subtle nuances that were brought into the movie, allowed you to see the devastation of the actions taken, as well as those not taken, to combine into a movie that could have been a typical revenge horror movie, but was not.
..it was very well written and performed.
