Review of Merchants of Doubt (2014) by Frederic L — 05 Dec 2015
A brilliantly crafted exposé of the spin-masters who have managed to discredit real science and divert attention in order to achieve corporate interests at the expense of public health and critically needed policy changes.
It was especially fascinating to see the connection between big tobacco's PR methods of the past and the current campaign from oil and coal interests to kill any action to address climate change. One of the best documentaries I've seen in a while, both in terms of clearly telling the story of its topic and in its cinematic style.
Everyone should see this!
