John Ritter in an action movie? Yes its true.
Ritter plays a millionaire who hires Olivier gruner to help track down his wife's killer. Ritter will only pay for this if he can come along, which adds some humour to the film.
Olivier Gruner is in real life an ex French Special Forces memeber and 2 time world kickboxing champion. He is more the real deal then most of the american martial artists in films today, Mark Dacascos being the only exception.
Being a straight to video/dvd release not many people have ever seen or heard of it. it is a good film, with some really good fight scenes. For the best training scenes you should watch The Circuit 1 and 2, and angel town. in these training scenes you can actually see that it is Olivier doing the fights himself, and not being made to look like he is with quick editing.
