Review of Ménage (1986) by Brandon S — 19 Apr 2010
Brillant film from Bertrand Blier quite possibly the finest in his career. The plot centers on a crook that stumbles upon a couple that is fighting each other and he begins to first seduce the wife and then the husband.
Doesn't sound like it's going to satisfy all taste, but it does with it's gender bending ludicrous style and frankness. Well acted all the way around, but an exceptional job from Gerard Depardieu.
Not to mention the soundtrack is great from Serge Gainsbourg.
