Review of Marjorie Prime (2017) by Jake A — 29 Jan 2018
This is a pretty good film. I believe this is adapted from a play. The story is very interesting and complimented the actors' abilities to perform. Essentially, each of the main characters is to perform as two characters but also as the same.
This movie is layered on the idea of memories and what they mean. This idea is accompanied by the near future and a new way of grieving. The only thing I would change about this film is the transitions.
They seem like they use Powerpoint slideshow fades and is quite jarring. The transitions are not smooth and take away from the tone. I would watch this movie again.
