A highly engaging mystery,a must for fans of Raymond Chandler, Chinatown and the Maltese Falcon. Full of twists and turns through dark menacing predicaments laced with frightening low life characters. Never predictable, the razor sharp plot keeps you on the edge throughout. Ayako Fujitani's Aki is graceful and innocent, wonderfully balanced by Sheriff Paul Del Moral's restrained fatherly confidence, a master performance by Pepe Sema.
