Review of Mail Order Wife (2005) by Chads. — 22 Apr 2006
When you recommend "Mail Order Wife" to friends, let them make the discovery about the film's ruse. If you do, some of the creepy fun from Lichi's first marriage will be lost. Before "Mail Order Wife" lapses into broad farce, early scenes in which the husband exploits Lichi into domestic servitude are uncannily believable.
Things get silly, but you can never accuse the filmmakers of being uninspired.
