Review of Magnificent Doll (1946) by Matt H — 28 Aug 2013
There's a fair amount of American post-revolutionary politics to keep up with in this biography of the future First Lady Dolley Madison, but there's plenty of romantic triangles all centering around Ginger Rogers who hardly misses a scene in this one.
This is her second outing with David Niven and it's all drama instead of the comedy this time around but they still make a good job of it, although Burgess Meredith gets plenty of airtime with her too in this one.
