Fearless! - That is to describe Isabelle, the other actors as well as the film as a whole. I do appreciate the courage to adapt Bataille's novel, but those scenes without Isabelle, i.e. the many love scenes, are really over the top.
Despite that, Isabelle is just amazing - Innocently evil. Other than Isabelle, I really don't think there can possibly be anyone, who not only dares to take up the part, but is capable to manage and perform such a role so beautifully.
