Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Bilal C — 20 Aug 2008
A brilliant movie in every sense of the word. I predict that many will be turned off by the raw sex scenes and the run-time, but the latter is hardly noticable due to how engrossing the movie is and the former are much more dignified than the irrelevant sex scenes in today's Hollywood.
The fact is that this movie is an immensely well-done piece of cinema with a deep plot, fully realized characters, and magnificient cinematography. It easily ranks in my Top Ten list.
