Review of Lost in America (1985) by Dave A — 22 Aug 2010
This is really great Albert Brooks stuff, but only for those who can appreciate the minimalist humor of it. Brooks' movies focus exclusively on a character's change and not the surroundings, which are just the backdrop.
Look for some priceless scenes like when Brooks' argues with his wife over a devastating secret she has that rears it's ugly head, or an uneasy conversation with a career counselor.
