Review of Lola Versus (2012) by Brandon V — 24 May 2014
Greta Gerwig gives one of the worst performances of 2012 in "Lola Versus". It has for the most part an atrocious script. The only reason I give this 1 star is because of Ebon Moss-Machrach, he was hilarious in his role.
And if you are going to have Jay Pharoah in your movie, use him, he's hilarious! And here's a sample of some of the awful dialogue; "I'm your rebound." "No, you're the layup!".
Clever.
